GWO Fire Awareness

Andrew Graham Course instructor with decades of experience.

About this course

GWO Fire Awareness training is a vital component of ensuring the safety and well-being of professionals working in the wind industry. This comprehensive training equips delegates with essential knowledge about the potential hazards they may encounter in their line of work, specifically related to fire incidents.

During the training, delegates learn about the various fire risks that can arise within the unique environment of the wind industry. They become familiar with the different types of fires that can occur and the factors that contribute to their development, such as weather conditions, equipment malfunctions, and electrical faults.

The training emphasises the importance of preventive measures and early detection of fire hazards. Delegates are educated on fire prevention strategies, safe work practices, and the correct usage of fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers.

Another critical aspect of GWO Fire Awareness training is teaching delegates how to respond efficiently and effectively in case of a fire emergency. They learn proper evacuation procedures, how to raise the alarm, and how to conduct themselves safely during an evacuation.
